Out of the Blue opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 4 November 1994 and closed after 17 days. Surprisingly there was no major advertising campaign for the show and the reviews were less than glowing. It had a very strong cast headed by some names well known amongst the musical theatre circles. I didn't see it myself but from hearing the music I wish I had. A recording was done of the OLC for all those involved in the production but there was no commercial release.
